In the "Boonies"

Sup people, i must admit its the lil towns and unheard of cities that have the best talent, wether it comes to singing dancing acting what ever...But to add another, which is producing (music.) This kid i stumbled on lastyear sometime..i was doin some research on MPC'S which is a Drum machine for the readers who lack the knowledge. I was wondering who had posted any YouTUBE videos of themselves rockin onna Mpc. At the time my search was strickly for a mpc 4000 because i was familiar with it and had used it before. But some how i click on this cat who was rocking a 1000, so at first i didnt wanna see the video because its alot of people who record themselves making tracks and half the time the beats are Terrible!!! So anyway, ol buddy was talkin how he was gonna play the whole thing out with the switchups and all, i wasnt familiar with what he was saying but now i know thanx to him for the detailed explaination.
Now as im watching ive never seen a person chop samples the way he does, normally folks will take fragments or pieces if you will of a sample to use during composing.

Needless to say that i was impressed by the sample he used and also the way he used it. the shit was fucking dope!! So when that video went off i went to the next one and then the next, watching him do his thing.I subscribed to his channel to keep in touch with the updated vids. Ask me now do i want a 4000...Hell nah! You can make tracks like that with a 1000 and with a lil JJOS(japanese version) added to the ingredients. IM SOLD! I even want the 500 portable joint & its battery operated too! oh its on!!! Thanx Boonie Mayfield aka Boon Doc!!! What i really like about him is that hes humble, silly as hell & the cat can dance too (DONT SLEEP!) he gotta video of that too...lol. Last but not least he rocks to his on tune "Having fun with it" as he uses it. Although you have all these producers out here diggin the software field making beats, its cool but i think that im a faithful analog head, yea yea! making beats with software is easy but i wanna learn the hard way to respect the easy shit later.

This cat is based out in Denver CO. Are you serious!?! DENVER! Ive never even met a person from denver or had a desire to go to denver...lol But if i was a major label rep i woulda signed his ass so fast.

Well now that i went on that rant about him check out the videos and subscribe like me and be apart of Black Tuezday Productions.

And Heres on more thats really current for tha 09 with him using software & hardware meaning using Reasons 4.0 and the Akai mpc 1000. enjoi!

Go add him now! www.myspace.com/booniemayfieldmusic
